This voluntary recall involves only the specific engines detailed below, which were sold at Toys R Us stores across Canada from June 2008 to July 2009. Approximately 1,002 units of the recalled Neville Die Cast Metal Engine have been sold at Toys R Us stores across Canada. Testing by Health Canada has determined that a component of the Neville Die Cast Metal Engine may separate when dropped from a height of 1.37 metres (4.5 feet), which may pose a choking hazard to children under 3 years of age.

Health Canada has not received any reports of injuries or incidents related to the use of this product.

Please have your engine nearby as you review the information below. If you determine that you have one of the affected engines, please immediately take it away from children and dispose of this item. Each Canadian consumer with a recalled item who contacts RC2 will receive a replacement die-cast metal vehicle. The affected Neville Die Cast Metal Engine body is black and is in the shape of a train, and can be identified as item # LC76051 (UPC # 9671476051) with the tracking code of 0568WY00 on the package and the bottom of the product. Only Neville Die Cast Metal Engines with tracking code 0568WY00 are subject to recall.
