This voluntary recall involves 15,460 units of the Take Along Nickelodeon™ Diego Wave Scooter Die Cast Metal Vehicle sold at various retail stores across Canada and distributed by RC2 Canada. These units are being voluntarily recalled because a test conducted by Health Canada found that small plastic pieces of the product, when dropped from a height of 1.37 meters (4.5 feet), may become separated from the product, and this piece may be a hazard to children under the age of 3.

Health Canada has not received any reports of injuries or incidents related to the use of this product.

Canadian consumers should immediately take the recalled product away from children and dispose of it. Each Canadian consumer participating in the recall will receive a replacement die-cast metal vehicle. The recalled units were sold at various retail stores throughout Canada from May 2007 to July 2009. The Diego Wave Scooter Die Cast Metal Vehicle body is yellow/orange and is in the shape of a wave scooter, and can be identified as item # LC28007 (UPC # 9671428007, 9671428000, 9671428101). The Diego Wave Scooter Die Cast Metal Vehicle was also included with The Take Along Nickelodeon™ Rainforest Rescue Track Set play item # LC28503 (UPC # 9671428503).
